The Y.E.S. Circle can partner with you in many ways to meet your needs:
If your school, non-profit or community organization is interested in workshops, seminars or presentations, we can suggest topics and/or customize a presentation to fit your needs.
Ideas for topics can include:
The Y.E.S. Circle teaches African-American teenage girls that their circumstances do not determine their destination -- life is where you are going, not where you are now. We teach them effective ways to deal with anger and aggression. We teach girls how to be team players. We show them the value of a dollar and how to be financially independent. We have workshops on finding their inner and outer beauty, as well as etiquette guidance. We emphasize their responsibility to their community by organizing charitable drives and doing volunteer work as well as peer counseling.
The Y.E.S. Circle believes in the power of sisterhood -- we teach the value of empathy, respecting and protecting one another. We work to uplift each other…always.
The Y.E.S. Circle offers multiple week empowerment groups for African-American teenage girls. We address topics including:
We can launch a Y.E.S. Circle at your school or non-profit organization.
We can work with African-American teenage girls on a one-to-one basis to focus on specific issues or areas.
To broaden the reach of the Y.E.S. circle, we are launching an audio series. You can listen to the short programs in our Audio Gallery and find the programs on iTunes.
